If you haven’t noticed Facebook recently just began their partnership with Spotify. Spotify is a music program. It is very similar to itunes, but offers much more. I was first skeptical with allowing them to access my facebook information, but there is no other way to join other than facebook. That must have been part of the conditions. After you join you are prompted to download the program on your computer. After launching the program it will automatically sync all the songs that you have locally on your computer.
You can then begin to search and listen to any music that you like. It is all streamed so it helps to have that good internet connection. You can search by anything artist, song, album. I like searching by artist, then narrowing it down to the album. Spotify will display all the songs in order of the album. One of the cooler functions is since the partnership with facebook, after you sign up you can view all your friends playlists as well. It has been really cool listening to new music that my best buds have.
Another great feature that I have tried out is the app for the iphone. You can sync you Spotify on your computer with your phone and bring it along with you anywhere. Since my phone plugs into my car I don’t have to worry about not having something cool to listen to. If you have a premium account you can stream any song you want to your phone live.
